Joyful Military Wedding
Helen, the bride is an old friend of mine and I was delighted when I saw the wonderful news of her engagement to Darren, and even more so when they asked me to shoot their wedding. It was such a joyful wedding with Darren in his military uniform.

Military Wedding
Helen works as a Youth Pastor in a church at Highfield Church in Southampton. Not surprisingly this is where they had their wedding ceremony. They also chose to hold their wedding reception at the church. Using the hall for their wedding breakfast. Darren is a member of the RAF and looked dashing in his uniform.
Off On a Bus Ride
Helen and Darren hired a London Routemaster to take Helen, her dad, and her Bridesmaids to the church. They also used the bus to take their family to a lovely private garden for some photos after the ceremony, a perfect idea.
Church Hall Reception
Helen’s friend and fabulous florist Michelle Gledhill decorated the church hall with natural floral displays and a touch of bunting. It looked wonderful. Homemade desserts, baked by the guests were the order of the day.
Joyful Wedding
The evening reception was held in the church itself, what an absolutely amazing space to dance the night away!
