Pimhill Barn Wedding Photographer
TRAVELLING
Amy & Paul spent a year travelling from the Uk to New Zealand, overland by motorcycle. Unbeknown to Amy, Paul travelled with an engagement ring, wrapped up in toilet paper and hidden in a pocket in his money belt. He hid the ring box in a spare oil filter box.
On arrival in Australia Paul popped the question during a picnic in the Botanical Gardens in Sydney.
What a story!
Deciding to stay in New Zealand for a while, Amy & Paul had the unenviable task of planning their wedding from some distance. Arriving back in the UK only weeks before their big day.
It was all worth it. Their wedding was a wonderful day, full of beauty.
UK WEDDING
Holding their ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Acton, Cheshire the couple then drove to their reception in Amy’s dad’s vintage Jaguar.
Pimhill Barn, located near Shrewsbury in neighbouring Shropshire is a unique space for a wedding party. A venue which can be decorated and used to the couples wishes. The barn dates back to 1584 and houses beautiful oak beams. With large doors, when opened out it creates a great light space which flows into the outside lawns.
PIMHILL BARN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Amy had got ready with her bridesmaids in Pimhill Courthouse, carefully restored Elizabethan accommodation situated a stones throw from the barn. The views off the Lea Hall gardens were stunning and we were able to make the most of the gardens for portraits. The garden even had it’s very own treehouse, complete with vintage toys, a hit with the little flower girl!
After the first dance the guests made their way outside to light sparklers. Amy and Paul exited the barn through a line of their favourite people all waving their sparklers. A perfect ending.
